UNICEF

Our school is raising money for UNICEF for the kids in Africa. We are raising money by making hemp bracelets. We have fun making them. Grade 5 and 6’s are hoping to make 300 hemp bracelets! We are presenting videos to other classrooms to teach about UNICEF so they can help us raise money for UNICEF. The younger grades help by bringing money. Last year we raised over 300 dollars. UNICEF is a great program. That’s worldwide. UNICEF helps kids in Africa get food, water, education and bikes to ride to school. It costs 20$ for kids to have pens and pencils. 60$ can buy a whole school supply of soccer balls. 109$ can buy a kid a bike to ride to school with. 217$ can buy kids school supplies. 509$ can buy a community a water pump. 1966$ can buy a school tent for if they live to far away from a school. Sign up for UNICEF and help kids in Africa.
